Best time to visit Vietnam

Northern Vietnam: May to October is hot, and the high humidity means significant rainfall. November to April are much cooler and drier months, with December and January being the coldest months.

Central Vietnam: Summer lasts from January through August and the weather is hot and dry.September and December are much wetter months, although temperatures remain comfortable.

Southern Vietnam: The hot and dry season here begins in November, finishing towards the end of April. Temperatures often reach 30°C.
May and October see rainfall, but the weather remains warm (25°C - 32°C)

The average flight time from the UK to Vietnam is around 15 hours (excluding any stopovers)

Visa Requirements & Customs

Visiting Vietnam for 45 days or fewer, you do not need a visa for tourism. You must have a visa for longer stays, and you can typically apply online.
