Once in a lifetime, up-close and personal wildlife encounters

Borneo is an incredible destination for both adventurers and wildlife enthusiasts.

As the world’s third largest island, Borneo’s territory is split into three countries, Malaysia, Indonesia and the kingdom of Brunei. The state of Sabah in the island’s Malaysian north provides the ideal base to begin your adventure before heading off to see Borneo's fantastic highlights;

  • Meet the famed, endangered Bornean Orangutans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre
  • Grab a glimpse of the Probiscus monkey in the wild
  • Snorkel the reefs of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and take in the tropical fish and sea turtles
  • Venture into Mount Kinabalu National Park, home to exotic flowers including the jewel orchid, tropical birds & multi-coloured lizards.
  • For the adventurous, a trek to the highest point of the island up Mount Kinabalu provides unparalleled views
  • Learn of the rich history of indigenous local tribes and historic cities

Borneo is well connected to the hubs of Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong, providing an opportunity to soak in the hustle & bustle of one of Asia’s iconic cities either side of your wildlife adventure.
