Best time to visit Mexico

We recommend visiting Mexico between December and April (Dry season). May to September (Wet season) still provides great weather, but you can expect short showers, typically in the afternoons.

Turtle spotting season runs from August to December in Los Cabos,
and if you're looking for Whale-Sharks, the timing varies by location ...but we'll help you navigate that.

Visa Requirements

You do not need a visa to enter Mexico as a tourist. Your passport will be stamped upon arrival with the number of days permitted for your stay. If you are arriving to Mexico via the USA, we recommend checking the latest guidance before travelling.

Mexico spans several times zones.

The offical currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN).

It's good idea to take a mix of Pesos and US dollars with you too as the dollar can be used to pay for tours, accommodation, and entrance fees, etc.

Direct flights to Mexico from the UK are typically around 11 hours.
